MAD day 21st 039MAD day 21st 036Members of MAD, be proud of your achievements, Today’s open day was a fantastic success.  With sooo many people attending, there must have been at least fifty cars at the grounds.  Many new faces turned up, some with their whole families in tow, all on bikes, ready to try the new tracks that we all worked so hard to build, an effort that could not have been possible without the following people;

Pip Paki Paki-  Mad extends it’s most sincere message of thanks to you for your time and effort in helping to create what would have been a near impossible task without your expertise and willingness to help our club establish our club  ”Dream”  We cannot thank you enough for what you’ve done out of your own time. WORD UP MAN.

Track Committee-  Iain Masters and Craig Larsen, every weekend, sometimes weekdays all that time, all that effort.  Great dedication to MAD and it’s members.  Every one agrees that the design of the track is exactly what we needed to bring MTB to Mackay and to the masses.  WELL DONE GUYS.

 

Dave Wilhelmi and Rob Aitken-  Organising, Communicating, Lobbying, the work done behind the scenes by these two guys is staggering.  Showing rock solid determination in the face of adversity at times and coming out smelling like Roses.  Never lost sight of the big picture and all for us- Our Club.  What a fantastic outcome for you both,  Be proud because MAD is proud of you.

 

Dean Waring- A vision realised.  Who would had thought in such a short time the club, under you would go so far so quickly.  Always a calming influence with enthusiism boiling to the surface You have been a real” hands on” President, turning up nearly every weekend to do “your” bit.  Thanks Deanage.

 EVERYONE who came out and helped at any time during this year we thank you for your time and we hope you stay riding with us next year and for the rest of this year, and of couse…….

 To our partners and family members, for their understanding and support while your significant other disappeared for “yet another whole weekend” We promise to take you out there with us from now on. Laugh
